Yet another hole I did not know about /// At the Conquest of New California is an urban stroll by Capucine Vever designed and developed in collaboration with Valentin Ferré.The work addresses a walker-auditor it consists of episodic listening immersive sound creations that fires account of its geographical position. This ballad plunges the visitor into an imaginary journey leading to some old quarries south (Malakoff / Clamart / Issy les Moulineaux) and NORD Paris (nineteenth arrondissement to Porte des Lilas). Walker has access to those spaces fitted with its headphones and personnel smartphone to make a journey through the voice of a narrator, sound compositions, a cadastral plan and of course the imagination of which experiments work.This trip is an underground exploration made through an area of shipping.The total duration of the experiment is estimated at 3 oclock for the NORD (nineteenth arrondissement) and at 4.30 for the south of Paris (Malakoff / Clamart / Issy les Moulineaux).Important: Once the application is downloaded to your smartphone, you will need to download the corresponding soundtracks to the territory you are about to go and the monitor system you have available.This project was developed as part of the residence Capucine Vever at the Maison des Arts de Malakoff (March-July 2014) as well as in the 3rd edition of the Biennale de Belleville (October 2014). It was designed jointly for the territory of the city of Malakoff and the nineteenth arrondissement of Paris. The extension of the application to the towns of Clamart and Issy-les-Moulineaux is a creation for the Grand Paris Express (2016). This project is the participation of the Maison des Arts in Malakoff, the Biennale de Belleville, the Société du Grand Paris and DICRéAM.
